insium turns 21!

~1.5-minute read

On Saturday, January 17th, insium turned 21 — and what a journey it’s been!

At insium, we have partnered with leaders, teams and organisations to build authentic, resilient and high-performing cultures. Through evidence-based programs — including Leading with Courage — we’ve helped individuals and teams grow their capability, confidence and courage to navigate complexity, change and growth with clarity and purpose.

From the beginning, dreaming has been at the heart of who we are. Dreams matter. They give us vision, guide our decisions, and inspire us to imagine what’s possible. How we process our dreams shapes how we think and how we show up in the world.

The name insium reflects this belief. In Furlan, the language of my ancestors from far north-eastern Italy, insium means to dream. Over the years, you may have noticed a phrase that appears in our work:

“O ài fat un biel insium.”
It simply means, “I had a beautiful dream.”

Friuli, in the far north-east of Italy, where Dina’s family is from.

Over the past 21 years, we’ve had many beautiful dreams — and we haven’t dreamt alone. We have dreamt with you. Our clients, partners and community have been instrumental in shaping our dreams, just as we’ve been privileged to support you in achieving yours. You’ve challenged us to evolve our thinking and refine our practice, to do better and to be better. With you, we’ve worked to translate aspiration into impact.

With gratitude and humility, we at insium recognise how fortunate we have been to be afforded so many inspiring dreams over these 21 years. As part of our celebration — and with heartfelt thanks to you — we want to help kick-start the next chapter of dreaming.

To support you in achieving your dreams in 2026, we are offering three free one-hour virtual coaching conversations to one member of our community. If you’re keen, click here to express your interest. One person will be randomly selected from all who put their hand up.

As we mark this milestone, we look ahead with optimism and curiosity. Who knows where we will end — but we look forward to realising many more dreams with you.

With thanks,

Dina (@CourageChick) & Geoff
